Spirála: Křivka

Formální matematická definice, která by zahrnovala všechny spirály, neexistuje (na rozdíl např. od kuželoseček).

Mezi důležité spirály patří:

• Archimédova spirála
• Fermatova spirála
• hyperbolická spirála
• hyperbolická platformická spirála
• klotoida (též Eulerova nebo Cornuova spirála)
• lituus
• logaritmická spirála
