By train edit

From the 50.44667218.8642712 Tarnówskie Góry Train Station (address: Częstochowska 21) there are connections to Katowice. The train ride to Katowice takes approx. 55 minutes costing 6 zł. When coming from Gliwice a change in Chorzów is required. The trip from nearby Bytom takes 25 minutes and costs 4,5 zł.

Tarnowskie Góry is not near the A4 highway which connects Wrocław, Katowice and Kraków. Depending on the direction you come from, it may be more convenient to get off the highway in either Gliwice or Katowice and use smaller roads from there. The driving distance from Katowice is about 35 minutes, from Gliwice 25 minutes.

It is the longest underground tourist route in Poland travelled by boats. It is located in a park in the west of the town Tarnowskie Góry. The guide puts the boats in motion and tells the stories connected with the place.
