National park in Queensland, Australia
The Great Sandy National Park is a 2,195.55 km2 (847.71 sq mi) national park (or state park) on the southern coast and wetlands of Central Queensland. It contains two sections:
- K'gari – the world's largest sand island.
- Cooloola Recreation Area – large patches of forest, wetlands and contains one of only two everglades systems in the world, with the other being Everglades National Park in Florida.
