National park in Cuba
The Alejandro de Humboldt National Park is in Eastern Cuba, in the provinces of Holguín and Guantánamo. It's listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Named after the German naturalist Alexander von Humboldt who explored the area at the turn of the 19th century, the park boasts a particularly rich flora.

Animals in the park include the endemic Cuban solenodon, as well as different parrots, lizards, hummingbirds and hutia.
