維度(粵拼:wai4 dou6;英文:dimension),又叫做維數(粵拼:wai4 sou3),喺數學同物理學可以理解做獨立參數嘅數目。舉例說明,一條線嘅空間係一維,得個長度,因為分析者淨係需要用一個數( x )就可以講明某一點喺呢個空間入面嘅邊個位;一塊平面係二維,由(互相獨立嘅)長度同闊度形成,分析者要用兩個數( x , y )先可以講清楚某一點喺呢個空間入面嘅邊個位...

物理學入便講親「維度」通常係指獨立嘅時空座標嘅數量,即係三維嘅空間,再加埋時間做第四維度。喺古典力學裏面,空間同時間係冇直接啦掕、而且絕對永恆不變嘅兩樣嘢嚟嘅,即係所謂嘅絕對時空(absolute space and time)概念;不過自從廿世紀起相對論(theory of relativity)改革咗人對時空嘅睇法,令人知道時空唔係絕對嘅,而一件事件位於時空當中嘅邊一點係取決於(相對於)觀察者嘅郁動。
