Thêng-sek gí-giân (Eng-gí: programming language) sī ēng lâi khòng-chè tiān-náu ia̍h pa̍t-chióng ki-khì ê jîn-kang gí-giân (artificial language).

Thêng-sek gí-giân kap jîn-lūi ēng ê chū-jiân gí-giân (natural language) chin sêng, lóng sī lī-iōng gí-hoat (syntax) kap gí-ì (semantics) ê kui-chek lâi khak-tēng gí-giân ê kiat-kò͘ kap ì-bī.
