Description

Une monnaie en cuivre d’une sapèque de Ho Han Thuong ( ?-1407), ère Han Nguyen (1401-1407), de la dynastie des Ho (1400-1407). A/ Han Nguyen thong bao (Monnaie courante de l’ère Han Nguyen), point à droite de Nguyen R/ vide Dimension : 20,84 mm Poids : 1,5 g. Cuivre Remarque : Ho Han Thuong est le fils de Ho Quy Ly qui lui cède le pouvoir en 1401. Ce sont les deux souverains de la dynastie Ho. Ho Quy Ly essaie d’obtenir l’investiture de l’empereur de Chine en prétextant que la dynastie Tran était éteinte. La cour Ming de Nanking, pour obtenir des informations exactes, envoie un commissaire impérial appelé Li pour enquêter. Celui-ci, dans son rapports, indique que ce sont uniquement des rebelles. En 1406, l’armée chinoise envahit le Dai Viet et les Ho sont vaincus en 1407 et faits prisonniers. Ils sont assassinés par leur escorte pendant leur transfert en Chine. Le caractère bao (à gauche) est écrit en sigillaire. Références : Toda 34, Barker 123.1
