Depicted person: Karl XIV Johan av Sverige-Norge (Jean Baptiste Bernadotte) Svenska: Bröstbild , fas vänster. Generalsuniform , ordnar. Boett av guld med glas på fram- och baksida. Baksidan lock till souvenirgömma. På baksidan inlägg av vitt siden. Ej öppnad ram av guld , krönt med kunglig krona. Kedja tillverkad i Stockholm av A.P. Lundqvist , 1844. Porträttet signerat Way. Stämplar : Tre kronor , st. Erik profil , CFH , P4 , (18 k?) - Karl Fredrik Hultbom , 1823-1860 , Stockholm 1845. Åttkantigt etui klätt med svart skinn med guldtryck. Invändigt klätt med vitt siden och svart sammet. På undersidan klistrat grönt , mönsterpressat papper med bläckskrift : "Gåfva af Konung Oscar I till H. Ex. Grefve Magnus Brahe 1844". Stängs med hakar , en hake borta. På särskild lapp : "Denna medaillon med Högstsalig Konung Carl XIV Johans porträtt , skänktes efter nemnde Konungs död af H.M.Konung Oscar till Hans Ecxellence Riksmarskalken m.m Grefve Magnus Brahe och af honom buren ända till dess död 1844". |
