DescriptionEnchanted-Rock-July-2008.jpg |
I was thinking that with Hurricane Dolly we'd get some pretty substantial rain and cloud-action up this way (Austin, TX). We did...and the best place I could think for awesome landscape shots was atop Enchanted Rock in Fredericksburg, TX (an hour West). It's about 425 feet above ground overlooking the TX hill country. Anyway... It was a torrential downpour most of the way there, but after the drive and a 20'ish minute hike we reached the top just in time to catch a storm in the distance. I have so many awesome shots from today...so hard to chose which ones to upload! |
