English: Photograph of "The Operator's Room on a liner, showing the Receiving Apparatus for a 5-kw. Station", which appeared between pages 252 and 253 in the 1913 edition of "The Year Book of Wireless Telegraphy and Telephony". (Appears to be the Olympic) Français : Photographie de la salle de l'opérateur sur le paquebot Olympic, montrant l'appareil de réception et d’émission d'une station de 5 kW en télégraphie sans fil", qui est apparue entre les pages 252 et 253 dans l'édition de 1913 de "l'Annuaire de la télégraphie et de la téléphonie sans fil". Station radiotélégraphique avec le détecteur magnétique fixé au mur en dessous de la fenêtre-parloir. Monsieur Brent radiotélégraphiste Marconi. (Avec un dès premier amplificateur audio (BF) à lampe électronique pour le casque). Les navires émettaient sur la longueur d'onde de 300 mètres (1000 kHz) et écoutaient sur la longueur d'onde 600 mètres 500 kHz. Les stations côtières normalement émettaient sur la longueur d'onde 600 mètres (500 kHz) et écoutaient sur la longueur d'onde de 300 mètres (1000 kHz). Les navires et les stations côtières avaient les possibilités d’émettre et de recevoir sur la même longueur d’onde; exemples un navire contactant un autre navire sur la longueur d'onde 600 mètres. |
