Xeon: Brand of x86 microprocessors from Intel
Xeon /ˈziːɒn/ is a brand of x86 microprocessors designed and manufactured by Intel Corporation.
In 1988 Intel released the first microprocessor using the name Xeon.
As of 2021, the Xeon series of processors are used in cloud computing and enterprise grade servers.
