Wolfgang Brezinka: German educationist

Wolfgang Brezinka (9 June 1928 – 3 January 2020) was a German-Austrian educational scientist.

He was born in Berlin. He served as professor of pedagogy at the Pedagogical University in Würzburg. He also worked at the universities of Innsbruck and Konstanz. He was a researcher at Columbia University and Harvard University.

On 3 January 2020, Brezinka died in Telfes, in the Austrian state of Tyrol. He was 91.
