Wiki Monument: Sculpture in Poland

The Wikipedia Monument (Polish: Pomnik Wikipedii) is a statue designed by Armenian sculptor Mihran Hakobyan honoring Wikipedia contributors.

It is located in Słubice, Poland.

The fiber and resin sculpture cost about 50,000 złotys (about $14,000; 12,000 euros). It was funded by Słubice regional authorities. It was unveiled in Frankfurt Square (Plac Frankfurcki) on 22 October 2014 in a ceremony that included representatives from both local Wiki chapters and the Wiki Foundation.
