An internet portal or web portal is a website used to enter the Internet.
It can also be used to describe a website to enter certain parts of the Internet, like Wikipedia's Community Portal.
Many ISPs have their own portals, but there are many other portals by other companies, like Microsoft's MSN, Ask.com, and Yahoo!.
