Volcano Rabbit: Species of mammal

The volcano rabbit (also known as teporingo or zacatuche) is a small rabbit native to Mexico.

The rabbit lives on about 280 square kilometers of land in central Mexico. The rabbit is ranked as endangered by the IUCN.
