Viktor Chernomyrdin: Russian diplomat and politician (1938-2010)
Viktor Stepanovich Chernomyrdin (Russian: Ви́ктор Степа́нович Черномы́рдин, 9 April 1938 – 3 November 2010) was a Russian politician.
He was the first chairman of the Gazprom energy company. Chernomyrdin was the longest-serving Prime Minister of Russia serving from 1992 to 1998.
