It published 130 magazines and was founded on November 28, 1922 in New York City. In 1990, Time Inc. merged with Warner Communications to form Time Warner. In 2014, the company was revived. In 2018, the company dissolved again after the acquisition by Meredith Corporation. It was owned by The Walt Disney Company
