Thesan: Etruscan deity of births and sunrise

In Etruscan Religion and mythology, Thesan is the Etruscan goddess of the dawn, divination and childbirth.

She is part of the Roman Aurora and Greek Eos. In some places, she received gifts together with the sun god Usil . She was especially worshipped at Caere and the city’s harbor Pyrgi.

Thesan is seen with wings and sometimes naked.
