Taloqan: The capital of Takhar Province, Afghanistan
Tāloqān (Persian: تالقان, also Tāleqān or Tāluqān) is the capital of Takhar Province, in northern Afghanistan.
It is in the Taluqan District. About 196,400 people live in the city.
