Tabernacle: Portable earthly dwelling place for the Shekhinah during the Exodus
The Tabernacle was a tent used in the Book of Exodus as a temple or dwelling place of God.
The word is still used in Catholicism for the box in which the Host or Eucharistic bread is kept, and for Non-conformist and Mormon churches.
