Sankarapuram Taluk
Sankarapuram is a taluk of Viluppuram district of the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
Sankarapuram town is a headquarters for this taluk. There are presently 188 villages in sankarapuram taluk. Before the bifurcation of Chinnasalem taluk from this taluk and Kallakurichi taluk, nearly 350 villages were under its control].
