RxSense was founded in 2015 by Rick Bates. The company focuses on technology for better health care and affordable medications. Rick has previously served as the President and COO of Catalyst Health Solutions. RxSense partners include ProAct, TroyRx and EmsanaRX, among others. In 2020, RxSense received an investment from Parthenon Capital, but the amount was not disclosed.
SingleCare, a subsidiary of RxSense, is a free to use service that helps people save money on prescription medicines. In 2020, SingleCare partnered with WebMD to create WebMDRx, to give customers better access to lower-priced prescription drugs. In 2021, FamilyWize merged with SingleCare Services and now operates under the SingleCare brand. In 2021, Martin Short partnered with SingleCare for TV ads promoting lower cost medicines. Bates received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2018 for his work in SingleCare.
RxAgile is a cloud-based platform and was the first product developed by RxSense.
