Roman Urdu: Urdu language written with the Latin script
Roman Urdu is the name used for the Urdu language written with the Roman alphabet.
It is used by a number of Urdu-speakers on the internet and computers due to the fact that the predominant internet language is English, which is written in roman script. Moreover, people who can speak Urdu but cannot read the script also use this format.
