Rich Brian: Indonesian rapper
Brian Imanuel (born 3 September 1999), better known as Rich Brian (formerly Rich Chigga), is an Indonesian rapper, record producer and singer-songwriter.
He is best known for his popular first single "Dat $tick", which was first released in February 2016 on YouTube. The single was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His first album, Amen (2018), peaked at number 18 on the Billboard 200. He released the single "Gospel" in 2017 with Keith Ape and XXXTentacion. He changed his rap name to "Rich Brian" in early 2018.
Rich Brian was born in Jakarta. He is of ethnic Chinese Indonesian descent. He moved to the United States in 2017. He lives in Los Angeles, California.
