Palatine German Language: West Franconian dialect of German

Palatine German, or Pfaelzisch–Lothringisch (Pälzisch; German: Pfälzisch, pronounced ), is a dialect and is spoken in the Upper Rhine Valley.

It is also spoken in Zweibrücken, Kaiserslautern, Alzey, Worms, Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Mannheim, Heidelberg, Speyer, Landau Wörth am Rhein and Alsace. It is also spoken beyond Alsace.
