Michelle Wu: Mayor of Boston since 2021
Michelle Wu (born January 14, 1985) is an American lawyer and politician.
Wu is the 55th Mayor of Boston since 2021. She was a member of the Boston City Council from 2014 until 2021. A Taiwanese-American, she is the first Asian American woman to serve on the council or be Boston's mayor. From January 2016 to January 2018, she was president of the council and was its first woman of color president.

In September 2020, Wu announced her candidacy for Mayor of Boston in the 2021 election. In November 2021, Wu won the election and became the first woman and person of color elected to the mayoral office.
