Michael O'donoghue: American actor and writer (1940-1994)

Michael O'Donoghue (January 5, 1940 – November 8, 1994) was an American writer and performer.

He was known for his dark comedy and humor. He was known for his writings for National Lampoon magazine. He was the first head writer of Saturday Night Live. He was born in Sauquoit, New York.

O'Donoghue died on November 8, 1994 in New York City of an intracerebral hemorrhage, aged 54.
