Mario Götze (born 3 June 1992 in Memmingen) is a German footballer.
He plays as a midfielder for PSV Eindhoven and the Germany national football team. He was part of Germany's 2014 FIFA World Cup squad. He is considered one of Germany's best talents. He scored the winning goal of the 2014 FIFA World Cup final against Argentina. On 21 June 2022, Götze signed a three-year contract with Eintracht Frankfurt.
