Mariano Rajoy Brey (born 27 March 1955) is the former Prime Minister of Spain.
His party, the Popular Party (Partido Popular, PP) won the elections in 2011. He won his re-election campaign in the 2016 election. His party had many corruption scandals and because of this a lot of people in Spanish congress voted to quit him from presidency on June 1, 2018 and put Pedro Sánchez in his place.
