Mělník (German: Melnik) is a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
It is the capital of the Mělník District. About 20,000 people lived there. It is at the confluence of the Elbe and Vltava rivers, about 35 km (22 mi) north of Prague.
