Jerry Reed (March 20, 1937 – September 1, 2008) was an American country music singer and actor.
Best known for his songs "Amos Moses", "When You're Hot You're Hot" and "Eastbound and Down", he also acted in several movies including Smokey and the Bandit and The Waterboy. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia. He died in Nashville, Tennessee due to complications from emphysema.
