Footballer Javier Cárdenas: Mexican footballer
Javier Cárdenas Martínez (8 December 1952 – 25 June 2022) was a Mexican football midfielder.
He played for Mexico in the 1978 FIFA World Cup and from 1975 until 1979. He also played for Deportivo Toluca. Cárdenas was born in Mexico City.
Cárdenas died on 25 June 2022 at the age of 69.
