Hugh Parmer: Texas State Senator

Hugh Quay Parmer (August 3, 1939 – May 27, 2020) was an American lawyer, businessman and Democratic politician.

He was a member of the Texas House of Representatives from 1963 to 1965. He was later a member of the Texas Senate from 1983 to 1991. Between 1977 to 1979, he was Mayor of Fort Worth, Texas.

Parmer died in Fort Worth on May 27, 2020 at the age of 80.
