Herman Van Rompuy: Prime Minister of Belgium and President of the European Council (born 1947)
Herman Van Rompuy (born 31 October 1947) is a Belgian politician.
In November 2009 he was appointed the first permanent President of the European Council, which is the meeting of the heads of government of all of the member states of the European Union.
