Gynecology: Science of the treatment of diseases of the female sexual organs and reproductive tract
Gynecology (also spelled gynaecology) is the part of medicine that deals with the female reproductive system (vagina, uterus, ovaries) and breasts.
Outside medicine, it means "the science of women."
Women have started to outnumber men in the study and practice of gynecology.
