George Wald: Nobel laureate

George Wald (November 18, 1906 – April 12, 1997) was an American scientist.

He won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1967 for his discoveries in vision. He was born on November 18, 1906 in New York City and died on April 12, 1997 in Cambridge, Massachusettes, United States.
