Description
English: A comparison between the external human female and male genitalia. This comparison features a clitoris with clitoromegaly and a flaccid penis. The penis is circumcised, but it is displaying shrinkage. The glans clitoris is developmentally homologous to the glans penis. They both contain the same amount of nerve endings, but the nerve endings of the glans clitoris are packed more densely because it is a smaller structure so it tends to be more sensitive than the glans penis.
The labia majora and scrotum are also biological homologues. While the labia majora lies flat beneath the clitoris, the scrotum bulges beneath the penis because it contains testicles.

Le pénis est circoncis, mais il affiche un rétrécissement. Le gland du clitoris est homologue du point de vue du développement au gland du pénis. Ils contiennent tous les deux la même quantité de terminaisons nerveuses, mais les terminaisons nerveuses du clitoris du gland sont plus denses car il s'agit d'une structure plus petite, de sorte qu'il a tendance à être plus sensible que le gland du pénis.
Les grandes lèvres et le scrotum sont également des homologues biologiques. Alors que les grandes lèvres sont à plat sous le clitoris, le scrotum, contenant des testicules est plus bas et plus éloigné du reste du corps
