Fgm-148 Javelin: American man-portable fire-and-forget anti-tank missile
The FGM-148 Javelin, or Advanced Anti-Tank Weapon System-Medium (AAWS-M), is an American-made anti-tank system.
It has a fire-and-forget design and automatic infrared guidance. This allows the user to seek cover right after launch. The Javelin's high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead can defeat modern tanks, hitting them from above, where their armor is thinnest.
