Edmond O'brien: Actor (1915-1985)

Edmond O'Brien (September 10, 1915 – May 9, 1985) was an American actor.

He received the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his supporting role in The Barefoot Contessa (1954). He also won a second Golden Globe and another Academy Award nomination for Seven Days in May (1964). He was born in New York City.

O'Brien died on May 9, 1985 from Alzheimer's disease-related problems in Inglewood, California at the age of 69.
