Dara Singh: Indian professional wrestler and actor (1928-2012)
Dara Singh (19 November 1928 – 12 July 2012) was an Indian wrestler and actor.
He started acting in 1952. He was the first sportsman to be nominated to the Rajya Sabha. He worked as Hindi and Punjabi movie producer, director and writer. He acted on movie and television. He was known for his roles in Jab We Met (2007), Kal Ho Naa Ho (2003) and Mera Naam Joker (1972).
