The Colorado Avalanche are an American ice hockey team in the National Hockey League (NHL).
They play their home games at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado. They play in the Central Division of the Western Conference. The team has won the Stanley Cup championship three times: in 1996, 2001, and in 2022.
