Borlotti Bean: October beans

The borlotti bean (Phaseolus vulgaris), also known as the cranberry bean, Roman bean, romano bean, saluggia bean, gadhra bean or rosecoco bean, is a variety of common bean first bred in Colombia.

The Colombians call it the cargamanto.

The borlotti bean looks like the pinto bean, but is bigger, and white with dark red specks.
