Bill Plager: Canadian ice hockey player

William Ronald Bill Plager (July 6, 1945 – January 3, 2016) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman.

He was born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Plager started his National Hockey League career with the Minnesota North Stars in 1967. He also played for the St. Louis Blues and Atlanta Flames. He left the NHL after the 1976 season.

Plager died on January 3, 2016 in Peterborough, Ontario, aged 70.
