B. D. Jatti: Indian politician (1912-2002)

Basappa Danappa Jatti pronunciation (help·info) (10 September 1913 – 7 June 2002) was an Indian politician.

He was the fifth Vice President of India from 1974 to 1979. He was Acting President of India from 11 February to 25 July 1977. He was a member of the Indian National Congress. Jatti was born in Savalagi, Bombay Presidency, British India.
