Anita Gradin: Swedish politician, Social Democrat politician and diplomat

Anita Gradin (12 August 1933 – 23 May 2022) was a Swedish politician.

She was born in Hörnefors, Sweden. She was a member of the Riksdag from 1969 until 1992. She later was a member of the European Commission from 1995 until 1999. Gradin was president of Socialists International Women and worked against the human trafficking of women.
