Andrée Geulen: Belgian Righteous Among the Nations
Andrée Geulen-Herscovici (6 September 1921 – 31 May 2022) was a Belgian teacher.
She was a member of the Belgian Resistance during the German occupation of Belgium during World War II. She was a member of the Comité de Défense des Juifs group. She took part in the rescue of almost 1,000 Jewish children during the Holocaust.
In 1989, Geulen was recognized with the honorific Righteous Among the Nations.
Geulen turned 100 in September 2021. She died on 31 May 2022 in Ixelles, Belgium.
