Amapá: State in the North Region of Brazil
Amapá is one of the states of Brazil.
It is in the far north, bordering French Guiana in the north. To the east is the Atlantic Ocean, and to the south and west is the Brazilian state Pará.

The state is mostly covered by rainforest. The state is known for producing iron and other metals.
