The Africa Cup of Nations, officially CAN (French: Coupe d'Afrique des Nations), also known as the African Cup of Nations, African Nations Cup or AFCON, is the main international association football tournament in Africa.
It is held every two years, and the winners that win at the time of the FIFA Confederations Cup automatically qualify for that tournament.
