Abdelkader Bensalah (Arabic: عبد القـادر بن صالح, 24 November 1941 – 22 September 2021) was an Algerian politician.
He was the President of the Council of the Nation from 2002 to 2019. On 2 April 2019, he became the Acting President of Algeria following the resignation of Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
