The 1891 Mino–Owari earthquake (Japanese: 濃尾地震) is an earthquake that occurred on October 28, 1891 in Japan.
The epicenter was 35°36′N 136°36′E / 35.6°N 136.6°E, Surface wave magnitude was 8.0. This earthquake is the largest inland earthquake in Japanese history. The quake killed 7,273 people.
